The projects involve the use of single-molecule / single-nanoparticle microscopy in the following general areas:
– Antimicrobial peptide interactions with bacterial membrane mimics
– Mass transport of macromolecules and nanoparticles in porous filtration membrane materials
– Protein dynamics at interfaces and in confined environments with applications in biomaterials and biocatalysts
